Gallery: Northern Cowal

Northern Cowal Is bouded by the north west shores of Loch long and the north east shoresof Loch Fyne, it is a very mountainous terrain, encompassing the "Arrochar Alps". The A83, the main road from Glasgow climbs over the "Rest and be Thankfull" at an elevation of 246 metres. The region also encompasses the picturesque Lochgoilhead reached by the narrow B828/B839, which is situated at the head of Loch Goil.
